Kelly & Bryant Chartered Accountants Ltd was established in Te Awamutu in 1939. Originally started up by Mr. KS Kelly and Mr. SC Bryant, the practice is now owned by Jon Page, Ray O’Connor and Craig Sanders and employs approximately 12 staff. We are one of the larger accounting practices in the Te Awamutu area and our close proximity to Hamilton city means we service a wide and diverse commercial and farming client base.
Progressive in our approach to accounting means we provide traditional accounting services along with a range of services aimed at adding value to our clients’ businesses. Accountants play a critical role in helping clients understand their financial affairs and we consider it our duty of care to provide services beyond tax compliance and advice to ensure our clients can reach their full business potential.
At Kelly & Bryant we want to get to know our clients and their business. The more we get to know them, the easier it is to help them work towards their business goals. We like to keep things simple and it is important to us that our clients can relate to us and the language we speak.
Our current business focus is twofold. Our primary objective is to better service our existing client base by helping clients identify areas of potential within their business. Our secondary objective is to grow our client base.
Within our team we have a wide array of skill sets, qualifications and experience. We have seven fully qualified Chartered Accountants, with specialist knowledge ranging from farm accounting to accounting systems to high level tax advice. Other areas of specialist knowledge within our team include business planning, business mentoring, marketing, human resources, ACC advice and financial planning.
KB Financial Solutions Ltd, a financial planning company, is run alongside our accounting practice. The two companies work together to meet the financial needs of our mutual clients, thereby ensuring our clients receive a complete financial service offering.
We are strong supporters of our local community and are involved in sponsoring a number of different community events, as well as supporting a number of local sporting teams.
